Leased Lines

Dedicated, reliable internet connectivity built around your business

Discover How a Leased Line Can Transform Your Business Connectivity

A business leased line gives your organisation a dedicated internet connection, providing consistent speeds and reliable connectivity without sharing bandwidth with other users.

For businesses that depend on cloud-based systems, video calls, VoIP, large file transfers or teams working across multiple locations, a leased line can provide the speed and stability needed to keep everything running smoothly.

At Triton Telecom, we help businesses understand their connectivity requirements and find the right leased line solution for the way they work.

Dedicated Internet Connectivity for Your Business

A leased line gives your business a dedicated internet connection with symmetrical upload and download speeds, providing reliable connectivity for teams that depend on cloud systems, VoIP, video conferencing and other business-critical applications.

Depending on your location and the network infrastructure available, we can provide connections ranging from 80Mbps/20Mbps up to 10Gbps/10Gbps symmetrical speeds.

If you’d like to understand how leased lines work and how they compare with standard business broadband, read our What Is a Leased Line? guide.

Why Choose a Leased Line?

Watch our short video to understand the benefits of a dedicated leased line and why contention can affect the performance of a shared broadband connection.

Benefits of a Leased Line for Your Business

Reliable connectivity has become essential for businesses of almost every size. A leased line can provide greater consistency and control where standard business broadband no longer meets your requirements.

Your connection is dedicated to your business, so you’re not competing with other users for the available bandwidth.

Upload and download speeds are the same, supporting cloud applications, file transfers, video conferencing and other data-intensive services.

Consistent connectivity helps keep your team productive and reduces the disruption that can come from an unreliable internet connection.

The right leased line connection will depend on how your business operates, the number of users and locations you need to support, and the systems your team relies on.

We work with a wide range of suppliers and network providers, including Openreach, BT Wholesale and CityFibre, alongside leased line providers such as Virgin Media and Sky.

Having access to multiple networks and suppliers means we can look at what’s available at your business premises and help identify the most suitable option, rather than being restricted to a single network.

Comparing Business Leased Line Options

Choosing a leased line isn’t simply about finding the fastest available connection.

Speed, capacity, resilience, contract terms and support can all influence which solution is right for your business. Your current requirements matter, but it’s also worth considering how your connectivity needs could change as your organisation grows.

Triton can review your existing setup, understand how your team uses its connectivity and talk you through the options available.

Fibre Leased Lines for Reliable Business Connectivity

A fibre leased line provides a dedicated fibre connection designed to give businesses reliable, high-performance internet access.

It can be particularly valuable for organisations with multiple users, cloud-based systems or business-critical applications where consistent connectivity is important throughout the working day.

Our team can help establish the level of connectivity your business needs and recommend a solution that provides the right balance of performance, resilience and cost.

What Happens When You Order a Leased Line?

Once we have the address where the leased line is required, we can place the order with the relevant supplier. This will normally begin with a survey to establish the route between the supplier’s network and your premises.

The survey will identify any work required to get the fibre connection to your building. In some cases, additional construction work may be needed, such as digging along a pathway or installing scaffolding to reach the building.

If additional work is required, this can result in Excess Construction Charges (ECCs).  You’ll be given the option to proceed with these costs or cancel the order. If you choose to cancel, the work won’t go ahead and no charges will be incurred.

If you proceed, the required works will be arranged by the supplier’s planning team. Once the pre-installation checks have been completed, the installation can take place.

This includes installing the supplier-managed router at your premises. Where required, we’ll also liaise with your IT provider or IT team to make sure the connection is correctly configured to work with your existing network.

Once everything is connected and configured, your leased line is ready to use.
